Apple is hosting its annual WWDC Developers Conference at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, showcasing a range of updates for its products. The upcoming iPhone features improvements such as enhanced customization, better parental controls, quicker app launches, and a more intuitive Siri assistant. These updates are expected to provide a significant boost for users with devices compatible with Apple Intelligence.
Initially introduced in 2024, Apple Intelligence faced challenges with several promised features not being delivered. However, the tech giant has been diligently working to enhance this intelligent service, and it is now poised to release these improvements to the public.
The upcoming September release of Apple Intelligence aims to simplify users’ lives by assisting in calendar organization and offering contextual suggestions in Messages. For instance, if a user receives a message requesting “photos of mum,” Apple Intelligence will promptly display relevant images from the user’s photo library.
Additionally, Safari browser is introducing new features like Notify Me, enabling users to track web page changes such as product updates or price adjustments. Safari will also feature tabs that automatically categorize themselves by topic.
One of the standout upgrades is in the photo department, with Apple Intelligence offering improved image retouching capabilities, object removal from photos, background extension without requiring advanced editing skills, and a feature called Spatial Reframing for post-photo composition adjustments.
Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering, emphasized the company’s commitment to integrating advanced technology into user-friendly products that cater to individual needs. The revamped Apple Intelligence, with its web browsing enhancements, creative tools, photo editing features, and more, signifies a significant advancement in incorporating powerful AI into Apple platforms for a personalized and useful experience.
The enhanced Apple Intelligence will be available in iOS 27 this autumn, accessible on various iPhone models, including the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 range, iPhone 17 models, and the iPhone Air.
