“Apple Pushes Crucial Update to Fix iPhone Wireless Charging Issue”

Date:

Apple has rolled out a crucial update for users of the latest iPhone models. The update addresses an issue that has been hindering wireless charging on some devices, forcing affected users to resort to MagSafe charging instead.

Although Apple reports only a small number of users experiencing this problem, it is recommended that all users ensure their devices are updated.

The affected devices include the iPhone 17 series, including the Pro and Pro Max models, as well as the iPhone Air. According to Apple, the update resolves the wired charging issue that occurs when the battery is nearly depleted.

To update your device, simply navigate to Settings, tap on General, and select Software Update. Look for iOS 26.5.1 and choose to update immediately or schedule it for nighttime.

Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection or unlimited mobile data as the update file is large at 13.6GB.

In other news, Apple’s WWDC Developers Conference is set to begin on June 8, where the company is expected to unveil the new iOS 27 upgrade. This update promises a host of new features and enhancements, potentially elevating the devices’ AI capabilities.

Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, expressed excitement for the upcoming WWDC event, highlighting the celebration of technology, innovation, and collaboration within the global developer community.
