Nathan Fielder’s latest endeavor post the recent season of “The Rehearsal” has been unveiled. The Vancouver-born comedian and filmmaker has teased his upcoming project, a documentary focusing on Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, who was convicted of fraud in 2022. The documentary, named “You Can See Everything,” co-created with documentarian Lance Oppenheim, chronicles the period leading to Holmes’s imprisonment in 2023.
Lance Oppenheim, known for his works like “Spermworld” (2024) and “Some Kind of Heaven” (2020), collaborates with Fielder on this project. Fielder, acclaimed for his show “Nathan For You,” gained popularity for providing unconventional business advice. The documentary, distributed by A24, showcases a visually striking trailer with intense moments between Fielder and Holmes, hinting at a gripping narrative.
The teaser was revealed alongside a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado. While official reviews are pending, early reactions from critics on social media praise the documentary. Director Daniel Howat described it as a “hysterical, shocking, insane documentary” and a “work of genius,” while music producer Erik Nordgren hailed it as the best film of the year, with a unique and striking style.
Fielder’s latest project draws parallels to a past uncomfortable interview he conducted with former CBC president Hubert T. Lacroix in 2008. The documentary is scheduled for theatrical release next month, promising an intriguing exploration of the events leading to Holmes’s incarceration.
